August ChallengeStampin’ Up! are celebrating their 25th birthday and as part of their celebrations they are sponsoring the prize for this month’s NZ Paper Chase challenge.

 The challenge is to show off your favourite stamping and inking techniques on either a LO or a card/project.  All people entering the challenge will be sent a copy of the recently released Stampin’ Up 2013 – 2014 Annual Catalogue while the winner will receive a prize package of Stampin’ Up! inks, card and papers!

At last I am excited to be able to share photos of our swap challenge with you all.

Here is how it worked, we had twelve players, each of us paired up with a partner and sent each other a small selection of our craft goodies.The idea was to create something unique for our partner, putting our own spin on the craft items we received.

Lainie has created a little treasure of a journal that tucks neatly away inside a matching box for Lynda

 

 

 

 

 

Amanda worked with Rachel's photo and craft items and has created a delightful layout.

My swap partner was Christine, I sent her this little bag of bits

 

Was thrilled with this beautiful layout.

 

 Love the way Christine has enhanced my brad with a clever twist of  tulle.

How sweet is this! Beautiful work Danice, bet Karen loves this.

Hello all, 

I bet lots of those fires and heat pumps are on tonight.  Its chilly here and what better way to spend it crafting.  I really liked the look of Sonya's sketch and thought I must give this a go, so I did.

I'm very lucky to be on a chipboard design team for memory Maze and for this layout I have used some distress paint , distress ink and a script stamp to enhance my chippie.  I added some yummy pearls to :-)

I love this paper range from Kaiser Craft,  This paper shows it as being ripped,  to high light this I actually ripped along the edge and gave it more dimension.

Hope you like the close ups and sorry they took a bit longer than I had expected, The weather here is still very wet and dark but I managed to get out when it stopped for a wee bit.

Aprils sketch challenge...

The Rules :This month we are looking for layers. WE also want to see one or more chipboard accents, which must be decorated. and show us some distressing, anything from a torn corner to a whole page full of distress. Have fun!!
